4th Grade Field Trip at the NC Symphony!

On October 10th, the 4th graders went to Meymandi Auditorium in downtown Raleigh to listen to and see the North Carolina Symphony perform. They had previously listened to and talked about all eight of the pieces the symphony selected to perform. They were all exposed to music from various cultures and learned about different musical elements that make up a piece of music. Students were captivated by the instruments and sound (they were sitting up front!) and hopefully have a new respect for classical music!
