  Learning Hands On (and Ears On)  

  Essential Musical Concepts   

We cover the basic musical structures and concepts required for a higher level understanding. This gives our students the framework to expand upon their knowledge when new concepts or instruments are introduced.

  Instrumental Experimentation  

Our classroom is filled with instruments from around the world, and we use our hands, ears, eyes and minds to experience them together and learn their places, functions and more.

  4th and 5th Grade Guitar Lab   

Fifth graders have a chance to learn hands-on with classical guitars. We cover basic picking, chords, tuning, instrument care, and more essentials.

 Keyboard Labs  

Keyboard Lab 1 and Keyboard Lab 2 give Conn students in second, third and fourth grade a chance to learn more about piano and music theory skills through our classroom keyboards.
