BoomWhacker Play Along!

In the recent 2 weeks, 2nd-5th graders have been exploring playing with BoomWhackers in a variety of songs. BoomWhackers are tubes of plastic made in different lengths and colors, which represent pitches on the major scale. Students would have up to 3 BoomWhackers at a time and would play along to songs on the projector. Students would focus on rhythm and self control, only playing his/her instrument when it was appropriate in the music. Students enjoyed this instrument exploration and we will incorporate them throughout our school year!
