Pre-K Week One
This week Ms. Sallie Lee's Pre-K class has been coming to music! These 8 students are very curious about music and the music classroom so we have been exploring the music room instruments. Each day, the students will learn 4-to 5 new instruments and take turns playing them using proper technique. Students have already started alternating their left/right hands to play the mallet instruments and drums! Students have also been learning a welcome song entitled "Hello There." It has truly been a rewarding experience to see these children's faces light up when they hear a new sound or figure out how to create these sounds on their own. Students have also been working on some of their classroom skills such as sharing, counting, and saying the alphabet.
