Our Music Room
The First Note
First impressions are important! I want to make sure our students have great and varied experiences with music, early and often. It's important in my classroom that students are willing to explore new ideas, instruments and sounds.
Teach In Harmony
The music room is a wonderful place for our students to build on Wake County's "Four Cs": Creativity, Collaboration, Critical Thinking and Communication. It's important that we maintain a fun space that invites exploration.
The Future Sounds Good
Music helps build a foundation of creativity within logical rules and constructs. This mindset is a great backdrop for our entreprenurial design focus, and teaches our students to think creatively but critically.
